For example, we can help you find a perfect, thoughtful gift, upgrade your tableware, shop for a painting to match the wallpaper you already found, etc., hire an expert to manage installation of a pendant light or help you decide where exactly to hang a piece of art (most people go too high).
Nom Nom Emporium shopping and styling is ideal for a client who doesn't need an interior designer, but still wants some help sourcing and making styling decisions.
Our hourly shopping rate is significantly lower than what you'd be paying for a designer and our pricing is entirely transparent. We find several options and then you decide what to buy and when. There is no markup since you'd be buying directly from the source. You're paying for our time and design eye, put to use toward helping you express your personality and defining your own inimitable style.
Since there are endless decor options, it's easy to be overwhelmed by so many choices. We can help narrow the field, find the truly special and unusual pieces, old and new, that represent YOU and are happy to work with a wide range of budgets.
The complimentary consultation call will be 15-20 minutes and ideally would happen via FaceTime or Zoom -- whichever is easiest. We'll need photos of your space, some of your favorite saved images on Pinterest or Instagram (if you have that), a list of items on your wishlist, favorite colors and your budget range. Once we decide on an action plan, we will communicate via email and will send curated edits specifically for you with multiple options to select from within your budget. Some examples: several different velvet pillowcases in one color family, sexy martini coupe glasses, Limoges plates, perfect small table for an entryway, rad sconces, designing an entire shelving system with lighting to highlight your book collection, a chandelier for the dining room or a large painting for the bedroom with bedding to match.
Nom Nom Emporium is currently based in Austin, TX, but can travel anywhere (especially once the Covid vaccine is more widely available). We have a couple experts on the ground in New York who can be present for home visits, transporting goods and managing installations. Thanks to living in Brooklyn for 10 years, our knowledge of NYC-area shops is especially deep. Our Austin design world intel is growing by the day.
